Novices 2007.
Well, quite lucky today. After 2 and half years of fencing training, finally got my first individual achievement, 3rd in place out of 90+ participant.Stopped training for 6 months, suddenly came back to fencing again. Didn't have any proper training then suddenly Went to competition. Went for competition, just hope can bring something back home as this is the last time i can fence in this competition (Novices championship).
Reach clementi sport, i was shocked to heard 93 participants took part in this competition. It was like WTF!!! Last time it was traditionally to have 35-45 participants. End up 13 boute 7 people each. That mean I've have used Twice of my Energy. Damm, loss 50% of my skill and stamina. How do win?
Round robin was alrite for me, win 5 Lose 1. Lose to ken from NYP. Haix, Never mind. During the Direct emination, Fight till from round of 64 then 32 then top 16 then top 8 then top 4 then loss to fusheng from SMU. During fencing top 16, meet Edward from TSS, I fencing with all my energy in me but still loss by 1 point. HOWEVER, he cheated! Disqualified by the Management of fencing Singapore. I'll loss all my energy i left.
Here come the Interesting part! Meet Fusheng from SMU. All the junior and friends from others school were shouting my name non-stop. It was super stress at that point of time. Our point was so close only 1 point differents. Only till 9-9, i got body clash by him and suddenly Leg clamp.
Holy mama, this is the first time i got leg clamp in my whole life. So shitty at that point of time, haix. I've took part in so many competition for this 2 years, Never got hit and body clash on me so many time. In the End loss to him.
GOlD- Sean Pual from Fencing master, Silver-Fusheng from SMU, Bronze-mengshyan from ITE and other guy -nameless.
Overall, I've build a close relationship with the juniors, about 10 of them. Haha, quite fun them. Crappy fellows. Hopefully they'll continue to fence for ITE for next few years.
Coach, I've proven to you that even u dont train me personally, I still can win something for myself. After 2 year plus. You finally praise me. After all, I'll stil said thanks you coach.
